Personal Belongings

Students should be aware that the responsibility for toys and sports equipment brought to school lies with them.

What NOT to bring to school

With so many students playing in one area, some objects have proven dangerous or a nuisance.

Please do not allow your child to bring the following items to school:

  • Dangerous implements and toys (eg weapons/knives);
  • Toy guns of any shape are NOT permitted on the school grounds;
  • Glass containers;
  • Too much money to be spent at the canteen ($5 is enough to get a milkshake and a frozen yoghurt);
  • Jewellery;
  • Precious or valuable toys and electronic equipment;
  • Golf balls and super balls;
  • Chewing gum is banned from the school grounds;

  • Coloured fingernail polish is not allowed to be worn to school.
  • With so many students walking or riding to school, please make sure that family pets do not follow children to school.

Mobile phones and iPads may be brought to school (only if approved by the Principal) and must be handed into the office in the morning and collected after school. They are NOT permitted to be used while students are at school.
